I LOVE our gel press! I have had so much fun playing with it. I added Sweet Berry and Green Olive acrylic paint and color splash for these pulls and then created these fun cards with the backgrounds.

Feeling especially blessed this morning and wanted to share pics of my craft room and studio. If you look closely you'll spot Scooter in some of the pictures. He's a momma's boy and doesn't get too far away from me. I am fortunate enough to have not one, but two, creative spaces! My very talented husband put in the floors, counter tops, track lighting, and shelving.
The pink room is my studio and where I do mixed media. The green craft room is for paper crafting.

The response to the FSJ February special has been overwhelming! The company even decided to add 5 more golden unicorns to boxes! I was super excited with the product I received in my FREE boxes...there were no duplicates, and I didn't have any of the items. There is something about the whole MYSTERY element ~ not knowing what you are going to get....soooo much fun!

It’s amazing how time flies when I’m in my craft room creating! I seem to lose all track of time when I’m in “the zone!” I had fun making cards for Rick and finishing up the Easter cards for my interns and their mentor teachers.
I recently had my first two card classes. I’m not sure who had more fun - me or my guests! Sharing my passion for paper crafting in this venue is a natural extension for me. It felt like being back in the classroom again! I’m looking forward to next month’s classes! I’ve made several cards already and my mind is overflowing with ideas for more.
Good morning! As usual, Murphy and Scooter “helped” me in the craft room yesterday! They can be found right under me feet most days. I was inspired by FSJ Coach Marci Besecker to create a card using our Dandelion Wishes stamp set and gel press. I used blue lagoon, cool pool, and whip cream paints on the gel press to create several fun backgrounds before deciding on one for the card. While I did use a stencil, I think I preferred the pulls without the stencil. I LOVE that every pull from the gel press is different- you never know what you are going to get! I would love to see some of your backgrounds!
